The problem with this name is that there's also a famousSpa(the origin of the word, in fact) in Germany. How about "Spas", in line with other plurals likeHot springs?"Spa (travel topic)"?(WT-en) Jpatokal23:07, 3 July 2006 (EDT)

I agree...(WT-en) Majnoona00:04, 4 July 2006 (EDT)

No individual spas

[edit]

To prevent spam and ballooning to an unmanageable size, I'd like to suggest that we don't list any individual spas here, just places famous for it. Opinions?(WT-en) Jpatokal11:38, 9 July 2006 (EDT)

I was thinking the same thing. More specifically, I'd image that the destinations section would list some of the areas of the world with spas and reference some of the area's nuances such as specialties, customs, unique ingredients, price range, etc.(WT-en) Johnycanal9:39 9 July 2006 (PST)
One other thought, individual spa listings are most suitable for the location pages.(WT-en) Johnycanal9:44 9 July 2006 (PST)

But in Turkey the locations are often very small towns or the developed geothermal spa (kaplıcı) is just on its own in the countryside. For example I don't want to create an article for Hamamözü as there is nothing worth doing in the tiny town except staying at the spa. I want to add more "kaplıcı" so where should I put them please? They will mainly be in Amasya province but not in Amasya town so should I put them under "Amasya" "Surrounding area" or "day trips" as I see someone has done? Or maybe "Central Karadeniz" as one is in Çorum?

Thanks - there was already one in Amasya Day Trips so I moved it there.

Overlap and neither is particularly comprehensive. Should they be merged?Hobbitschuster(talk)14:59, 11 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
