Bračis an island in the Adriatic Sea, in theSplit-Dalmatiacounty ofCroatia,near the city ofSplit.It is the largest island inDalmatiaand has a population of 14,000.

In landscape, Brač is similar to its well known neighborHvar,with its rolling hills, pine and fig trees, isolated bays and clear water. Brač has two larger towns,BolandSupetar.

Blaca hermitage

  • Dominican monastery in Bol has a great collection prehistoric items, amphoras and numismatic collection.
  • Museum of the island in the village Škrip.
