Request for translation administrator rights

Hi, I have been cleaning up some vandalism in my capacity as a global sysop. Since I am not a translation admin here, I am not able to delete translated pages (likeAgenda:2016-04-22/bm,not a translation). LincolnBot brokeTemplate:Decade years navbox

InSpecial:Diff/361758LincolnBot changed the "cat_prefix" parameter to "cat prefix" inTemplate:Decade years navbox.Note "cat_suffix" was not changed. By changing the parameter,Template:DMCA category by year(which uses the "cat_prefix" parameter) no longer links to the correct categories. For example, as of 27 March 2024 if you go toCategory:DMCA 2023you'll see that in the DMCA category by year nav box that "2022" no longer links toCategory:DMCA 2022,it instead is linking toCategory:2022.This is because the templateTemplate:Decade years navboxis no longer recognizing the prefix passed in byTemplate:DMCA category by year.—RP88(talk)19:25, 1 April 2024 (UTC)

Add autopatrol to editor user group

Thanks for the pointer. These issues are reduced (but not entirely solved). One templatewas fixed,and it's now possible to translate the transcluded content fromWikimedia:Duplicated content(but the incomplete translations won't show up in the "100% completed" main page's stats, however the sectiondoes link directly to itso hopefully that's clear enough!). Restrict unfuzzy rights on WMF wiki

Perthe logs,there have been three instances just yesterday of translations by new users being marked not outdated without being properly updated. I suggest that, asMediaWiki.org has already doneandMeta plans to do,we restrict the right to autoconfirmed users, which right now just means having had an account for four days with no edit requirement.

This would obsoleteSpecial:AbuseFilter/4,which could then be disabled.Pppery(talk)04:38, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
