Biographie
[modifier|modifier le code]Né àYonkers,Raymond Sherwood King grandit entre leKansasetMilwaukeedans leWisconsin.Il fait ses études à l'université Marquette,puis déménage àChicago,où il travaille dans la publicité et la vente. Il devient ensuite un collaborateur régulier du journalThe Chicago Tribune.Il commence à publier desromans policiersà partir desannées 1930[1].Dans les années 1940, il poursuit une carrière de publicitaire[2].
En 1947, son romanIf I Die Before I Wake,publié en 1938, est porté à l'écran parOrson Wellessous le titreThe Lady of Shanghai[3].
Il semble ne plus rien avoir publié après 1961.
