HMASSydney(R17/A214/P214/L134)adalah sebuahkapal indukringan kelas-Majesticyang dimiliki olehAngkatan Laut Australia(Royal Australian Navy,RAN). Kapal ini awalnya dibuat untukAngkatan Laut Britania RayasebagaiHMSTerrible(93)dan mulai meluncur pada 1944, namun pembangunan kapal ini tidak selesai sebelum berakhirnyaPerang Dunia II.Kapal induk ini lalu dijual ke Australia pada 1947, lalu pembangunanya diselesaikan dan mulai beroperasi di AL Australia dengan namaSydneypada 1948.

Sydneyadalah kapal induk konvensional pertama yang diperasikan AL Australia, dan misinya termasuk operasi dalamPerang Korea,mengirimkan pasokan untuk mendukung Malaysia dalamKonfrontasi Indonesia-Malaysia,serta transportasi tentara dan perlengkapan dalamPerang Vietnam.Kapal ini berhenti beroperasi pada 1973. Pada 1975,Sydneydijual ke sebuah pabrikbajaKorea Selatansebagai rongsokan untuk dihancurkan.
