Rosa Cuthbert Guy(/ˈɡ/) (1 September 1922 – 3 Juni 2012) adalahpenuliskelahiranTrinidadberkebangsaanAmerika Serikatyang berimigrasi ke Amerika Serikat bersama keluarganya sejak kecil, dan tumbuh diNew York.Menjadi yatim-piatu sejak muda di lingkungan rumah yatim piatu, namanya dikenal melalui buku-buku fiksi untuk kalangan dewasa muda yang memberikan dukungan dalam hubungan.[1]

Dia tinggal dan bekerja diNew York City,di mana dia merupakan salah satu di antara pendiriHarlem Writers Guildtahun 1950, yang cukup berpengaruh dalam rangka mendorong para penulis keturunanAfrika-Amerikauntuk menerbitkan karya-karyanya. Dia meninggal akibat sakitkanker,pada tanggal 3 Juni 2012.[2][3][4]
