What can I do on PerfectDomain?

You can be a buyer, a seller, or both! Select your perfect domain name or submit your domains for sale. PerfectDomain provides all the tools necessary with an easy to use interface to help you make an informed buying decision or help you market and sell your domain names.
How do I create an account?

Simply click Register at the top right of the screen and follow the simple steps to create an account. You need to verify your email before submitting your domains for sale.
What do I get when I 'Buy Now'?

When you 'Buy Now' you get a perfect high-quality domain plus the custom logo you see with the domain name. The Buy Now prices are binding and the transaction will automatically be created to help you get the domain name as quickly and painlessly as possible!
Can I make an offer on a Buy Now listing?

Yes, if the seller has elected to accept offers. Simply use the inquiry form on the domain’s sale page. Please be aware that an offer is binding for 7 days.
How do I add domains to PerfectDomain?

Once you have created an account, sign in and enter your user dashboard area. In the My Domains section, click on "+ Add Domain For Sale" and follow the simple steps.
What happens after I add a domain?

After your domains have been added, they enter the verification process. The easiest and fastest way to verify your domain is to forward it to https://perfectdomain /domain/YOUR_DOMAIN or point your nameservers to us by changing your DNS tons1.perfectdomainns2.perfectdomain.Choosing one option also lowers our commission when your domain is sold.
What is a push (account change) between users?

When a sale takes place and the payment has been secured, you have the option to push the domain name to another user within the registrar where the domain name is currently located. Please refer to the account-change guidelines of these popular registrars (Godaddy,Enom,NetworkSolutions,Uniregistry)
What is the EPP (authorization code) for transfers?

When a sale takes place and the payment has been secured, you have the option to transfer the domain name to another registrar. You must request the EPP (authorization code) from your registrar and provide it to the buyer. The buyer then initiates a transfer request within their own registrar, and the seller receives an email asking them to confirm the transfer.

Can I pay for a domain with a currency other than US dollars?

At this time, PerfectDomain only accepts US dollars. For your convenience, we recommend using an FX tool likexeif you are dealing with a different currency.
My WhoIs check failed. What else can I do?

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay via Paypal (all major credit cards), Bank Wire, or BitPay. You may choose to start the transaction through our PDTransfer service or Escrow.
What are your criteria for domains to be accepted in your marketplace?

PerfectDomain only selects the highest quality domain names for our marketplace. Each domain is passed through a thorough screening process by our team of experts, and only the very best get selected. We must reasonably believe that your domain can and will be sold on our platform for a reasonable price; otherwise, the domain will not be accepted.
What fees does PerfectDomain charge?

Creating an account is 100% free. Subscribing to our newsletter is 100% free.

Domain Sale:
PerfectDomain takes a 10% commission on the sale price for normal listings and 15% for featured listings. If you park your domains with us using our DNS and/or by forwarding your domains to their unique landing pages, both normal and featured-listing commissions are reduced to 10%. Remember, we only get paid if your domain name sells!

Domain Acquisition:
PerfectDomain takes a 15% commission on top of the sale price for premium domain acquisitions. Please refer to ouracquisitions pagefor more details.
Who pays the Escrow fees?

How do I reset my password?

Forgot your password? It happens to the best of us. Simply click 'Forgot Password' under the sign-in form on the sign-in page and enter your registered email. You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
How do I activate my account?

Already have an account but haven't activated it yet? Simply click 'Activate Account' on the sign-in page and enter your registered email. You will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your account.
What is the fastest way to verify my domains?

How does 'Jump to page' work?

'Jump to page' is a quick and easy way to sort your domains. Simply click on a tag and all your corresponding domains will be loaded!
How do I update my payment settings?

To update your payment settings, sign in to your account. On your dashboard, click the 'My Profile' tab; your payment settings will be on the left-hand side. Enter your updated payment details there. For your security, you will receive an email with a security code that you will need to enter.
Transfer Center - How does it work?

The Transfer Center contains all the inquiries, offers, purchases, and sales for your account.

To chat with us about a specific transaction, click the individual transaction. Note: for your protection and convenience, all communications are handled exclusively by our staff.
How do I apply for a Featured Listing?

To apply for a Featured Listing, click the ‘apply featured listing’ link that appears on the right-hand side of the domain during the second step of the ‘Add Domain For Sale’ process. Please keep in mind that only an extremely limited number of the highest quality domains will be approved.
My domain is under privacy. How can I verify it?

or you can also verify your domain by adding a custom TXT record to your domain with your personal verification key code.

For more detail on these verification options, please sign-in to your PerfectDomain account, go to the My Domains/Portfolio tab then click the# Pendingtag in the JUMP TO PAGE section.
How do I get paid?

Using in-house PDTransfer service can will be paid by: Paypal, Wire, and Bitcoin.
Or by using escrow. Before making a sale, please make sure your escrow email address is saved under My Profile. As you will be paid by them.
What is your refund policy?

If the seller fails to initiate the domain transfer within 14 business days of the time of purchase, the buyer is entitled to claim a refund.
How do I delete my domains?

To delete your domains, sign in to your account. On your dashboard, under the 'My Domains' tab, click 'Listing Management' and click 'delete' or use the 'bulk delete' tool.
What is a public seller profile?

Your public seller profile is your own unique page at PerfectDomain, which allows you to share your entire portfolio with prospective buyers. Your unique profile URL will have the following pattern:https://perfectdomain /seller/USERNAME,whereUSERNAMEis replaced by your personal account username.

You have full control of your public profile; you can easily switch from public to private by signing in to your account - My Profile tab - Accessibility.
Where can I view domains I have purchased or made offers on?

To view your buyer activity, sign in to your account and enter your Dashboard. Under the My Domains tab, click Transfer Center. The Transfer Center contains all inquiries, offers, purchases, and sales for your account.
Where can I view domains I have sold or received offers on?

To view your seller activity, sign in to your account and enter your Dashboard. Under the My Domains tab, click Transfer Center. The Transfer Center contains all inquiries, offers, purchases, and sales for your account.
What if I want to add more than 100 domains?

We’ve made it easy for you to submit large portfolios of 100 domains or more. Simply create and upload a.txt or.csv file with a list of your domains.
Note:Each line must contain one domain followed by your desired price, separated by a comma. To list a domain as a Make Offer listing, leave the price field blank.

How can I make changes to my profile?

Once logged in to your account, click Dashboard, My Profile and make the changes you desire. Some fields will be locked.
How can I update my escrow email?

Once logged in to your account, click Dashboard, My Profile, your Escrow email address is under Payment Settings on the left.

What is the Traffic Report?

The Traffic Report tracks all your domain names in our system. Use the Traffic Report to find out how many people viewed your domain listings within a given period of time.
How can I manage my newsletter subscription and preferences?

Once logged in to your account, click Dashboard, My Domains and Subscription.
In the Advanced Newsletter preferences, specify which types of domains you'd like to receive in your newsletter. We will search our database and pick the most relevant domains to help you find your perfect domain. You can also unsubscribe from the Newsletter here.
How can I view the progress of my purchases and sales?

Once logged in to your account, click Dashboard, My Domains and Transfer Center. The Transfer Center contains all inquiries, offers, and transactions in Escrow for your account.
How can I update or edit domains in bulk?

Once logged in to your account, click Dashboard, My Domains and Portfolio. Select the domains you wish to edit by ticking the appropriate boxes and click Bulk Tools. You can edit the following parameters:

Category settings
Price Settings
Tags Settings
Bulk Delete domains
Export your portfolio to a file
How can I change my logo?

Once logged in to your account, click Dashboard, My Domains and Portfolio. Under the domain, click Listing Management and click the arrow on top of the logo and OK. This will generate a new logo for you, free of charge! You can repeat this as many times as you like.
Where do I see my commission rates?

Once logged in to your account, click Dashboard, My Domains and Portfolio. Under the domain, click Listing Management and your Sale Commission will be listed. You can change your Listing Type from Normal Listing to Featured Listing and vice-versa.
Can you help me acquire a domain name that is already taken?

Can I customize the domains that are shown on the Domain Landing Page?

Yes, you can. Go to Profile, and click 'Landing Page' next to the names of the Domains you want to appear on your landing page.
How do I track my earnings from your affiliate program, and how do I withdraw them?

Open the Billing System tab to view all details of your Affiliate Program earnings. You can transfer earnings that you make on our affiliate program to your PayPal account.
Escrow - Payment Plan Settings

You need to enable this service under my profile - landing page. Choose the settings you like to apply.
Any domain name sells on a payment plan the seller will be asked to push the domain name to escrow holding account.
buyer can request DNS (nameserver updates once first payment been made).
Benefits of buying a domain with installment payment plan

You are able to use the domain name after the first installment payment has been made.Upon receipt of first payment via PDTransfer or Escrow the Buyer will be able to request DNS changes to the domain name. The domain will be held in a domain management account until all payments have been received. The Buyer will be allowed to pay all or some payments early with no penalty.Once all payments have been madethe domain will be transferred to the Buyer and the transaction will finish.
What is the Installment Service Fee?

For installment purchases with a payment period of more than 12 months, we charge an additional service fee of 10%. This fee is included in the monthly payments shown to when you purchase a name with a payment period of more than 12 months. This fee compensates us for the additional effort and expenses we incur by facilitating longer payment periods.
How to enable or disable the Installment Payment Plan option for my domains

Account level: In the LANDING PAGE settings - my profile tab in your account:

1. enable for all of my domains
- this option means all of your domains will have this option.

2. enable for almost, except few domains
- this option means all of your domains will have this option except for disabled Domains (Listing Management can be done)

3. disable for all of my domains
- this option means all of your domains will be disabled.

4. disable for almost, except few domains
- this option means all of your domains will do not have this option except for enabled Domains (Listing Management can be done)

5. buyer's flexible installment plans
- lets buyer able to select flexible installment plans in list: 12 months, 18 months, 24 months
How does in-house PDTransfer work?
