Lorna Wing(ur.7 października1928,zm.6 czerwca2014) –angielskapsychiatrai lekarz. Pracowała w Medical Research Council’s Social Psychiatry Unit oraz jako psychiatra-konsultant dla Maudsley Hospital wLondynie.Na emeryturę przeszła w 1990[1][2].

W związku z objawamiautyzmuu córki była zaangażowana w badania dotyczącezaburzeń rozwoju,w szczególnościspektrum autyzmu.W 1962 roku została współzałożycielką i członkiemNational Autistic Society[2][3].Koncepcję „spektrum” zaproponowała na początku lat 80. XX w., we współpracy z zespołemChristophera Gillberga[2].

Autorka i współautorka 12 książek dotyczących spektrum autystycznego izespołu Aspergera;przyczyniła się do spopularyzowania tych terminów.
