DueNeftchalawis exceptionally industrial region, it wis liquidatit in December 1959 an unifeed wi theSalyanregion. Housomeivver, efter 4 year it wis isolatit fraeSalyanregion an became independent industrial zone. But seemilar mixed seestem for control did no justify itsel, an ance again Neftchala region wis again liquidatit in 1965 an became pairt o theSalyan.The region become independent efter 7 year on 27 Aprile 1973.
