Jiaxian(Cheenese:Giáp tiên;pinyin:Jiǎxiān;Wade–Giles:chia-hsien) is a rural tounship inKaohsiung Coonty,Taiwan.Locatit far frae the coast, the tounship is regardit as a gateway tae Taiwan's Central Muntain Range.
Situatit at the intersection o Hieway 20 (theSoothren Cross-Island Hieway) an Hieway 21, Jiaxian's dountoun serves as a mercat centre for local farmers an tourists. The maist famous local crop istaro.Shops sell taro-flavoredice cream,taro cookies, an ither taro products. The tounship is an aa kent for itsbamboo shootsanploums.[1]
