CCL19,hemokin (C-C motiv) ligand 19,jeproteinkoji je kod ljudi kodiranCCL19genom.[1][2]CCL19 ja malicitokiniz CChemokinfamilije koji je takođe poznat kaoEBI1 ligand hemokin(ELC) imakrofagni inflamatorni protein-3-beta(MIP-3-beta).[3]
Ovajgenje jedan od nekoliko CC citokinskih gena grupisanih na p-rucihromozoma 9[4]Ovaj hemokin dejstvuje na svoje ciljne ćelije vezivanjem zahemokinski receptorCCR7.[5].Citokinisu familija izlučenih proteina koji učestvuju u imunoregulatornim i inflamatornim procesima. CC citokini suproteinikarakterisani sa dva susednacisteina.Za citokin kodiran ovim genom se veruje da igra ulogu u normalnoj recirkulacijilimfocita.On takođe ima važnu ulogu u razmeniT ćelijautimusu,i u migraciji T ćelija i B ćelija u sekundarne limfoidne organe. On se specifično vezuje za hemokinski receptorCCR7.[2]
CCL19 je obilno izražen utimusuilimfnim čvorovima,u umerenim nivoima utrahejiikolonu,i u niskim nivoima u stomaku,tankim crevima,plućima,bubrezimaislezini.[5]On privlači određene ćelijeimunskog sistema,kao što sudendritske ćelijei antigen-aktiviraneB ćelije,[6][7]CCR7+efektorske-memorijske T-ćelije.[8]
