Álvaro Mutis Jaramillo(August 25, 1923 – September 22, 2013) was a Colombian poet, novelist, and essayist.[1]His best-known work is thenovel sequenceThe Adventures and Misadventures of Maqroll.He was awarded the 2001Miguel de Cervantes Prizeand the 2002Neustadt International Prize for Literature.[2]
