Aeronautical operations technician
The degree ofTechnicien aéronautique d'exploitation(TAE, in English aeronautical operations Technician) was created in 2011. It is recognized byCNCP,[1]and recorded level IV in thenomenclature des niveaux de formation(levels of training). The training is organized by theFrench Civil Aviation University.[2]
History
[change|change source]The TAE course started in 1962.[3]It was originally named « Agent d'Exploitation » (Handling Agent / Flight Dispatcher). The new name was introduced in November 2010.[4]
Training
[change|change source]The training is in seven months inToulouseor, since September 2012,[5]on the Aerocampus » ofLatresne.[6]The curriculum propose, in substantially equal parts, general lessons of aeronautics and practical lessons:air navigation,telecommunicationsand aeronautical information, aircraft flight mechanics, navigation, avionics,meteorology,air operations, air law, English,....[7]
