Aespa(Korean:에스파;stylized asæspa) is aSouth Koreangirl group.The group is made of four members: Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning. They makeK-popmusic underSM Entertainment[1]since 17 November 2020.[2]They are famous for theirmetaverseconceptand for theirEDMandhyperpopsongs.[3]

The group's name, Aespa, combines the English first letters for "avatar"and" experience "(Avatar X Experience) with the English word"aspect",meaning" two sides ", to give the idea of" meeting another self and experiencing the new world ".[2]Their fans are called "My".[4]
