Al-Manar TVis a television station ran by theLebanesepolitical groupHezbollah,and broadcasts from the city ofBeirutin the countryLebanon.The station was officially launched on the 4th of June 1991 as a part of theArab States Broadcasting Union.The station was designated as a global terrorist organisation by theUnited Statesand was banned on the 17th of December 2004.[1]
