Alfred Eisenstaedt(6 December 1898[1]– 24 August 1995) was aGermanphotographerandphotojournalist.He is renowned for hiscandid photographs,frequently made using a 35mmLeica M3rangefinder camera.He is best remembered for his photograph capturing the celebration ofV-J Day in Times Square.[2]
