Attica is in the south ofGreece.It is a peninsula betweenPeloponneseandEuboea.Its the southest point is the capeSounion.Attica has five mountains with an elevation over 1000 meters,Parnitha(the highest of all),Penteli,Hymettus,Pateras mountainandKithairon.Attica hasborderswithBoeotiaprefecture to the north andCorinthiaprefecture to the west. Attica is surrounded by the sea ofSaronicgulfto the west andSouth Euboeangolf to the east. These seas are a part ofAegeansea.
