Bob Love

Robert Earl "Butterbean" Love(December 8, 1942 – November 18, 2024) was anAmericanprofessional basketball player. In 1968, he joined theChicago Bullsof theNational Basketball Association(NBA). He retired in 1976. Love then worked as the Bulls' Director of Community Affairs.[1]

Love was born inBastrop, Louisiana.He was raised inBaton Rouge, Louisiana.He studied atSouthern University.

Love also played for theCincinnati Royalsfrom 1966 to 1968. In 1968, he played for theMilwaukee Bucks.From 1976 to 1977, Love played for theNew York Nets.In 1977, he then played for theSeattle SuperSonics.

Love died on November 18, 2024 fromcancerinChicago,Illinoisat the age of 82.[2]
