Braddockis aboroughin the eastern suburbs ofPittsburghinAllegheny County, Pennsylvania,10 miles (16 km) from theMonongahela River.The population was 1,721 at the 2020 census.[1]The town is named for GeneralEdward Braddock(1695–1755).[2]Current US SenatorDemocratJohn Fettermanwas mayor from 2005 to 2019.
