The first Brazilian Grand Prix was first held atInterlagosin 1972. It was not part of theFormula OneWorld Championship. The race in1973was the first one included in the official calendar. In1978the Brazilian Grand Prix moved toJacarepaguáinRio de Janeiro.For1979and1980the race returning to Interlagos. In1981the race returned to Jacarepaguá. Since1990,the Grand Prix has been run at Interlagos.
