Connex South Eastern[1]was atrain operating companyin theUnited Kingdom.It was owned byConnex.It ran theSouth Eastern franchisefrom October 1996 until November 2003.
On 8 November 2003, its services were stopped because of money problems and because they were using old trains.[2]

[change|change source]Connex South Eastern ran train services fromLondon Blackfriars,London Bridge,London Cannon Street,London Charing CrossandLondon VictoriatoHayes,Bromley North,Ramsgate,Dover Priory,Folkestone HarbourandOre.
It also ran train services betweenSittingbourne and Sheerness;Paddock Wood, Maidstone West and Strood;andMaidstone West, Redhill and Three Bridges.
Trains
[change|change source]Connex South Eastern took on a large fleet ofslam-doorandpower-doorelectric multiple unitsfromNetwork SouthEast.
The slam-door EMUs wereClass 411s,Class 421sandClass 423s,built between 1956 and 1974,
the power-door EMUs wereClass 365s,Class 465sandClass 466s,built between 1991 and 1995.
In 1998 Connex South Eastern leased twelveClass 508sfromAngel Trainsto replace some of the old Class 411s.[3][4][5][6][7]
Connex South Eastern ordered 112Class 375s,and 36Class 376swith the first entering service in April 2001.[8][9][10]
From 4 February to 20 March 2002, a preservedClass 201Hastingsunit was on loan to Connex South Eastern to run two return journeys on Monday to Fridays between Charing Cross andHastings.[11]this was because there was a shortage of trains.
