Eleanor Jessie Coppola(néeNeil;May 4, 1936 – April 12, 2024) was an American movie director, screenwriter, and artist. She was married to directorFrancis Ford Coppolafrom 1963 until her death. She was best-known for her 1991 documentary movieHearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse.[1]She won anEmmy Awardin 1992.

Coppola died inRutherford, Californiaon April 12, 2024, at the age of 87.[2]
