François Baron Englert(French:[ɑ̃ɡlɛʁ];born 6 November 1932) is a Belgian theoretical physicist. In 2013, he won theNobel Prize in PhysicswithPeter Higgsfor their work in the discovery of theBrout-Englert-Higgs mechanism.
