Kilobit

Akilobitis1000 (kilo-),as inSI,bits.[1]A bit is either 0 (off) or 1 (on). The kilobit is usually written as kbit or kb.[1][2]Kibibitis similar, except it has 1024 (power of two) bits instead of 1000. They are sometimes confused.
