Makhachkala
Makhachkala(Russian:Махачкала;Lak:Гьанжи;Avar:МахӀачхъала;Lezgian:Магьачкъала;Rutul:МахаӀчкала) is thecapital cityof theRepublicofDagestan,southwesternRussia.[1]As of the 2010census,the city had 572,076 peopleliving there.
