Maryport

Maryportis a town on the A596 road inAllerdale,Cumbria,England. In 2001 there were 11,275 people living in Maryport.^[1]

The Romans built the fort Uxellodunum in Alauna (which is now called Maryport) around the year 122, to help defend the western end ofHadrian's Wall.^[source?]
