Mesothelioma

Mesotheliomais acancerof themesothelialtissue, a membrane that surrounds several cavities inside of the human body, including the lungs.[1]Although mesothelioma has many possible causes, most cases can be traced toasbestosexposure.[2]

Mesothelioma is a deadly form of cancer.[3]Most patients are diagnosed in their 60s and die at around age 70. It is different fromasbestosis,another disease caused by asbestos. Mesothelioma has been the subject of manylawsuits.[4]
