Qin dynasty
TheQin dynastyruled inChinafrom 221 BC to 206BC(15 years). It was created by the warlordQin Shi Huangduring theWarring States Periodand defeated several other states in the area to unite China. The Qin ruled China for only a very short time, during which they built both theTerracotta Armyand parts of theGreat Wall of China.
The second, and final emperor, Qin Er Shi, was overthrown by a popular rebellion after the first Qin emperor died. It was followed by theHan dynasty.The Han dynasty was founded byLiu Bangin 202 BC.
