Roscoe C. Brown, Jr.(March 9, 1922 – July 2, 2016)[1][2]was one of theTuskegee Airmenand asquadroncommander of the100th Fighter Squadronof the332nd Fighter Group.He served in theU.S. Army Air ForcesinEuropeduringWorld War II.During this period, Captain Brown shot down an advancedGermanMe-262jet fighterand a FW-190 fighter.[3][4]
