Rotuma
Rotumais avolcanicisland about 465km(289mi) south ofFiji.[1]It covers an area of about 43km2(17sq mi). It has been a part ofFijisince 1881. While the Fijian Islands areMelanesian,Rotuma isisolatedfar to the north. Its people and culture are more closely related toPolynesia.
