TheSearch for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence(SETI) is various efforts to find signals fromextraterrestrial life.It included a program thatindividuals could useon their computers to search for radio signals from worlds with alien life. This was maybe the most famous of theBOINCor Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing programs that allow users to use their computers for scientific research.
