Shelby Charter Township,officially theCharter Township of Shelby,is acharter townshipandcensus-designated placelocated inMacomb Countyin theU.S. stateofMichigan.It is a suburb ofDetroit.As of the2020 census,the township had a total population of 79,408.[1]Shelby Charter Township is one of the fastest growing communities inMetro Detroit.[2]
