Astyleis referring to how you address[a]a person in a formal manner. It varies on thestatusof a person. For example a married woman would be addressed asMrs(Audio (US(help·info)).[1]Aprincewould be addressed asHis Royal Highness.[2]A male (regardless of being married) would be addressed asMr.[1]
