Tsung-Dao Lee

Tsung-Dao Lee(Chinese:Lý chính đạo;pinyin:Lǐ Zhèngdào;born November 24, 1926) is a Chinese-Americanphysicist.He was born inShanghai.He is known for his work onparity violation,the Lee Model,particle physics,relativistic heavy ion (RHIC) physics, nontopological solitons and soliton stars.

He was aUniversity ProfessorEmeritusatColumbia University,where he taught from 1953 until his retirement in 2012.[1]

In 1957, Lee, at the age of 30, won theNobel Prize in PhysicswithChen Ning Yang[2]for their work on the violation of theparitylaw in weak interactions.
