Henan
Henanis a province of the People's Republic ofChina.It is in the central eastern part of China.[1]The name Henan means "south of theYellow River."The capital of Henan isZhengzhou.[1]
Its major cities areAnyang,Hebi,Jiaozuo,Kaifeng,Luohe,Luoyang,Nanyang,Pingdingshan,Puyang,Sanmenxia,Shangqiu,Xinxiang,Xinyang,Xuchang,Zhengzhou,ZhoukouandZhumadian. Henan is now the province of China with the most people.
The abbreviation of Henan is Yu ( dự ) to remember a kingdom from history that was in the area, and also because another province also has "He" ( hà ) in its name, Hebei ( hà bắc ).
