Sakai (堺市, Sakai-shi) is a city in Osaka Prefecture. It has over 800,000 people. It is known for its ancient burial mounds and its cutlery industry.

And the largest kofun, Daisen-kofun, the imperial tomb of Emperor Nintoku is located.
