Antoine de Bourbon, duc de Vendôme,also calledAntoine of Navarre(22 April 1518 – 17 November 1562) was the King ofNavarrethrough his marriage (jure uxoris) toQueen Jeanne III,from 1555 until his death.[1]He was thefounderof theRoyalHouse of Bourbon.[2]Antoine was the father ofHenry IV of France.[2]
