Ernesto Madarang Maceda(March 26, 1935 – June 20, 2016) was aFilipinocolumnist and a politician. He served as aSenatorfrom 1971 to 1972 and again from 1987 to 1998. He served asSenate Presidentfrom 1996 to 1998.

Maceda died ofmultiple organ failureat a hospital inQuezon City,Philippineson the night of June 20, 2016, aged 81.[1]
