James Mountain "Jim" Inhofe(November 17, 1934 – July 9, 2024) was anAmericanpoliticianfromOklahoma.He was aU.S. senatorofOklahomafrom 1994 to 2023. In February 2022, Inhofe said he would retire in January 2023.[2]
Inhofe died of problems caused by astrokeat a hospital inTulsa,Oklahomaon July 9, 2024, at the age of 89.[3][4]
