MarshalLon Nol(Khmer:លន់ នល់,alsoលន់ ណុល;13 November 1913 – 17 November 1985) was aCambodianpoliticianandmilitaryleader. He led acoupagainst PrinceNorodom Sihanoukin 1970.[1]Nol made himselfPresidentof the newly createdKhmer Republic.
TheKhmer Rougetook leadership of Cambodia. Lon Nol fled from Cambodia toIndonesiaand then to theUnited States.
