Metroid Prime 4: Beyondis an upcomingfirst personaction-adventure game.It will be made byRetro Studiosand published byNintendo.It will be made for theNintendo Switchgame console. It was shown at E3 2017. It was thought that the game would be made by Bandai Namco Studios. In January 2019, Nintendo said that Bandai Namco had stopped making the game. They also said that Retro Studios would be making the game instead. Retro Studios were the makers of the otherMetroid Primegames.Kensuke Tanabe,who worked on all of the otherPrimegames, became theproducer.ANintendo Directin June 2024 showed lots of information about the game. Gameplay and the 2025 release date were both shown. ThesubtitleofBeyondwas also shown.
