Frederick Reginald Ironside,known asMichael Ironside(born February 12, 1950) is aCanadianactor,voice actor,movie director,movie producerandscreenwriterfor bothmoviesandtelevision.[1]He is best-known for playing tough guys andvillains.He has also playedsympatheticcharacters.
Ironside played Richter in the 1990science fictionmovieTotal Recall.In 1997 he played Lieutenant Jean Rasczak inStarship Troopers.[2]In 2011 he played the Captain of the 7th Fleet inX-Men: First Class.
Ironside didvoice actinginSuperman: The Animated Seriesand its sequelJustice League.[3]
Ironside was born inToronto,Ontario.
