Mount Erebus

Mount Erebusis avolcanoonRoss IslandinAntarctica.It is the most southernactive volcanoin the world.

Erebus is 3,895meters(12,779ft) high.

On November 28, 1979, anairplane,Air New Zealand Flight 901,crashed into Mount Erebus during a storm. All 257 people in the airplane died.[1]
