The movie was directed by Kenji Nagasaki and produced byBones.

During the openingweekend,My Hero Academia: Two Heroesranked 4th at the Japanese box office. It grossed¥500 million($4.49 million) in three days.[1]The movie later dropped to 7th in its second weekend.[2]The movie sold its one millionth ticket during its fourth week.[3]
