ThePontiac Silverdomewas a domedstadiumin the town ofPontiac,Michigan,nearDetroit.It opened in1975and closed in2007.The largest crowds to come to the stadium were forWrestleMania IIIonMarch 29,1987,where the main event was a match betweenHulk HoganandAndré the Giant.The crowd attendance for that night reached 93,173,[1][2][3][4]which is also the record for indoor attendance. TheDetroit LionsNFLteam played at the stadium from 1975 until 2001.
