It was produced byMAPPA.It is based on theRage of Bahamutgame.[4]The series was directed byKeiichi Satoand written byKeiichi Hasegawa.The characters were designed by Naoyuki Onda and music was by Yoshihiro Ike. The first season, titledRage of Bahamut: Genesis(Thần kích の バハムート GENESIS,Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis),aired between October 6, 2014 and December 29, 2014. It had 12 episodes. It has been licensed forstreamingin North America byFunimation.[5]
The second season titledRage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul(Thần kích の バハムート VIRGIN SOUL,Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul)[6]aired between April 7, 2017 and September 29, 2017.[7]
