Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar(19 October 1910 – 21 August 1995) was anIndianPhysicist.He received the 1983Nobel PrizeinPhysicsalongsideWilliam Alfred Fowler"for his theoretical studies of the physical processes of importance to the structure and evolution of the stars".[1]
He was born inLahorenow Pakistan until 1916, his family came and settled in Allahabad then in 1918, moved to Madras. He died inChicago.
