Shueisha Inc.(Japanese: Kabushiki gaisha tập anh xã, Hepburn:Kabushiki-gaisha Shūeisha) is a Japanese company headquartered inChiyoda, Tokyo,Japan. The company was established in 1925 as the entertainment-related publishing division of Japanese publisher Shogakukan. The following year, Shueisha became a separate, independent company.
Manga magazines published by Shueisha include theJumpmagazine line, which includes shonen magazinesWeekly Shōnen Jump,Jump SQ,andV Jump,and seinen magazinesWeekly Young Jump,Grand JumpandUltra Jump.They also publish other magazines, includingNon-no.Shueisha, along with Shogakukan, ownsViz Media,which publishes manga from both companies in North America.
