CBGB(skraćenica zaengl.Country, BlueGrass, and Blues) je bio noćni klub, smešten u južnom delunjujorškeopštineMenhetn.Osnovao ga je u decembru1973.Hilly Kristals namerom da pruži pozornicu izvođačimakantrija,blugrasa ibluza.Umesto toga je, međutim, postao omiljeno mestopankinovotalasnihbendova, kao što su:Ramones,Misfits,Television,Patti Smith Group,Mink DeVille,The Dead Boys,The Dictators,The Fleshtones,The Voidoids,The Cramps,The B-52's,Blondie,Joan Jett & The Blackhearts,The ShirtsiTalking Heads. Od ranih1980-ihje postao poznat pohardkor pankbendovima kao:Agnostic Front,Murphy's Law,U.S. Chaos,Cro-Mags,Warzone,Gorilla Biscuits,Sick of It AlliYouth of Today.[1][2]Godine2006.je zatvoren zbog spora oko plaćanja najamnine.[3]
