Make text larger

The Immersive Reader in Microsoft Edge provides a cleaner, simpler layout with fewer distractions. Change the theme and text size to what's most comfortable for you.

UnderText preferences,select the text size, and change the page theme to one of 23 options.

Get image descriptions from Microsoft
Microsoft Edge can detect unlabeled images and generate descriptions. Image descriptions can be read aloud by screen readers in English, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, and simplified Chinese.
To turn this feature on:

Go to Settings and more>Settings.

SelectAccessibility> turn onGet image descriptions from Microsoft for screen readers,and selectYes, I'm in.

When this feature is turned on, Microsoft Edge will automatically generate descriptions for unlabeled images on any website.
High visibility focus indicator
The high visibility focus indicator creates a black and white outline around a focused element on a web page. The outline will appear when you select a link or text area and when using keyboard navigation, such as the Tab key.
To turn this feature on:

Go to Settings and more>Settings.

SelectAccessibilityand turn onShow a high visibility outline around the area of focus on the page.

When this feature is turned on, a black and white outline will appear for three seconds around the focused element on any web page.

Turn on caret browsing
To navigate pages with a text cursor, turn on caret browsing.
Turn caret browsing on or off only for the current session using the keyboard shortcut:

Turn on caret browsing indefinitely by going to Settings and more>Settings>Accessibilityand turn onNavigate pages with a text cursor.
With caret browsing on, you can move the caret within a web page using theUp,Down,Left,andRightdirectional arrow keys andHome,Page Up,andPage Downbuttons on your keyboard.
To select text, images, or other elements on the page, hold downShiftwhile moving the caret.
For example, to open the menu for an image on the page:

Use the arrow keys to move the caret immediately before the image.

Hold downShiftwhile moving the caret using the left or right arrow keys to select the image.

Then pressShift+F10to open the menu for the image.
From this menu, you can do things like copy the image to the clipboard or perform a visual search using the image.
